Joint Simulator 0.56 - 5,64 N-m RDI-5
Joint simulators are devices used during testing of the torque tools with electric or pneumatic drive.
Through eliminating the irregularity of "peak torques" and simulating real working conditions simulator allows
for precise measurement of the achieved torque values by the tested tools
Joint simulators are dedicated for use only with tools equipped with a clutch mechanism (shut-off or slip) and
cannot be used with impact or impulse tools!

How to use simulator
- The simulator should be mounted between the driver of the tested tool and adapter on
the tester transducer. - The transducer should be securely attached to the stable working bench/station
- Using the tested tool, unlock the screw in top part of the simulator
- Using the tested tool, screw in the bolt in the simulator until the clutch mechanism on tested tool is activated
- The maximum torque value achieved, which will appear on the screen of the readout unit on the tester. If
required, it can be saved in the internal memmory of the tester
To change the type of tested joint, e.g. Hard Joint, Soft Joint, Elastic Joint, you need to change the
arrangements of the washers in the simulator.
Maintenance
The internal thread of the simulator bolt - visible after unscrewing, should be lubricated (preferably with
molybdenum grease) once every 6 months
Additional information
The simulator should be use only when testing electric or pneumatic tools, it's not rquired to use when
checking the hand tools - such as mechanical or electronic torque wrenches. The simulator works only in the
right (CW). Each Simulator has unique torque range and customer has to select proper simulator with range
suitable for tested torque value
